Donald Trump still has artificial hair

Millions of men afflicted with receding hair lines were once again deluged with feelings of helplessness and depression this week with the launch of Donald Trump's latest series of The Apprentice.

"That show is intensely depressing," says Grahame Norden of Long Island, who has suffered from a socially-debilitating bald pate for over four years now. "It's all about this billionaire, right? A man who can buy anything. And what does the show prove? It proves that no amount of money can get you a natural head of hair. I feel like killing myself."

"I'd always kinda hoped that one day I could enjoy a healthy social life again. Playing tennis with attractive women and that sort of thing," says long-time hair-loss sufferer Peter Coherte of Carlisle, MA. "All I had to do was save enough money for that laser folicle regeneration stuff you see on late-night TV. Well there's another illusion shattered."

Nobody knows whether he's wearing a wig or whether it's an experiment in hair-regrowth gone terribly wrong, but supporters of the flamboyant billionaire say they don't care. "Trump's hair has nothing to do with it. You're all just jealous."

"I don't know," counters Todd Ferguson, a construction worker from Wyoming. "I'm not sure you could pay me to go around looking like that. Makes you question a man's sanity to see a fella going round with that on his head."

Whatever the case, Trump's example bodes ill for men seeking a solution to baldness, even with an unlimited budget. Trump's defenders, however, claim that the billionaire property developer deliberately maintains a ridiculous wig to show the world he 'doesn't take himself seriously'.

"It's a delightful piece of self-depreciation, a demonstration of Trump's wit and finesse as a jokester," says one fan. "You want stupid hair, take a look at Bill Gates. Looks like he's letting Melinda cut his hair for him."

Whatever the case, its seems that if Trump's new show can prove anything, it's that money can't help you see yourself in the mirror as you really are.

The Apprentice airs 9pm Thursdays on NBC. Brainsnap recommends reading a book instead.
